Dana Anderson
Dana Anderson began at Inside Out Studio needing one-on-one guidance, but she is rapidly gaining skills and finding the inner resources to work independently. She works with remarkable concentration, and seems to find delight in the act of creation. Her work demonstrates a sophisticated use of color and is profound in its simplicity.
Dana Anderson is also quickly making her mark in the art world. She was the first-ever special needs artist in the State of Alabama to be given her own gallery art exhibit. She exhibited 20 pieces at the Huntsville Botanical Garden March 1 – April 30, 2018. She has been asked to exhibit 30 pieces at the Tull Hall Gallery in Atlanta, where she will again make history as the first-ever special needs artist in the State of Georgia to be given her own gallery art exhibit. Her exhibit entitled “Beyond Barriers” was on display November 4, 2018 – January 29, 2019.
