The Inside Out studio door is always open, and we invite the public to visit and meet our artists. We are open from 12:00 - 5:00, Wednesday through Saturday. You can find us by entering through Door #3 from the front parking lot just after passing through the main guard gate. While he started out drawing and painting, Scott has recently found that his medium of choice is collage, and he shows a natural ability for composition in this art form. Scott works mainly on wood panel with images from magazines and books, and is particularly drawn to older, less processed images. Scott is so excited by this new means of his expression that he likes to teach other artists at Inside Out how to create their own assembled works. While she began with singular figures, Leila has expanded her work to include text and other manifestations of societal interaction. Her work is intriguing, often containing symbols and cultural references, but is also highly accessible in its directness. Her art is defined by a freedom of expression, but also shows a strong intuitive understanding of color and composition. She is comfortable working in any medium, embracing new modes of production without hesitation. Whenever he creates other images, there is usually a story behind them, which Daniel will share with us. She works with remarkable concentration, and seems to find delight in the act of creation. Her work demonstrates a sophisticated use of color and is profound in its simplicity. Dana Anderson is also quickly making her mark in the art world. She was the first-ever special needs artist in the State of Alabama to be given her own gallery art exhibit. She exhibited 20 pieces at the Huntsville Botanical Garden March 1 – April 30, 2018. She has been asked to exhibit 30 pieces at the Tull Hall Gallery in Atlanta, where she will again make history as the first-ever special needs artist in the State of Georgia to be given her own gallery art exhibit. DeAndra has a strong interest in graphite drawing and carries her sketch pad with her, sometimes drawing some of the artists and vendors she has met at Lowe Mill. As a founder, Anne has developed and is directing the Voice and Swallowing programming at PDyn. She has been a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Huntsville area for over 40 years. She is a native Huntsvillian, who graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. After obtaining a law degree at Vanderbilt University, Anne moved to Houston, Texas, and began her legal practice in the Tax Department at Baker Botts LLP. Beginning in 1992, her practice specialized in estate planning, probate, and the representation of tax-exempt organizations. Since 2005, she has served as a Trustee of the Isla Carroll Turner Friendship Trust, a private foundation located in Houston, Texas.
